godzilla-aI am posting for all you Godzilla fans like me. I can’t wait to see what The Sci-Fi Block does with this favorite monster hero of mine.

>4.14.2009 Godzilla Raids the Sci-Fi Block

The entire month of May this year is going to be devoted to everyone’s favorite giant Japanese monster: Godzilla. We’re starting off as usual with a Top 10 Countdown encompassing the first two weeks. The countdown will be (you guessed it) “Top 10 Godzilla Films.” And that’s just the beginning of things. Upon conclusion of the countdown, we will be posting a review of one Godzilla film per weekday for the entire rest of the month.

But here’s the best part: for the first week of Godzilla reviews (the first week following the countdown), we are teaming up with Classic-Horror.com to provide you with multiple opinions of each film reviewed, ending with the one that started it all, the original Godzilla (AKA Gojira, 1954). During that week, Classic-Horror and The Sci-Fi Block will be posting their own reviews of the same five Godzilla movies, so you get two takes on each of them, one from each site.

After the crossover week, we’ll be here to finish off the rest of the month, one Godzilla review per day.

So don’t miss Godzilla Month. If you need something to sate your Godzilla hunger in the meantime, you can check out the two Godzilla reviews already on the site: Godzilla Raids Again and Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster.
